Students are adding and subtracting unlike fractions and mixed numbers. Expect a quiz by the end of the week or early next week over addition and subtraction of fractions and mixed numbers. The next sections will be multiplication and division of fractions and mixed numbers.

will continue working with ratios and rate and include proportions in real life
problems. They
will also compare similar figures and look at scale drawings.
