We are taking the quiz over multiplication and division of fractions and mixed numbers this week. If they have not finished the quiz over addition, subtraction, or multiplication of fractions and mixed numbers they will need to put in some extra time outside class. We will start integers this week in the unit they will learn about opposites, absolute value and how to add subtract multiply and divide integers and rational numbers.
Accelerated Math
Students will be solving percent problems they will be able to solve for the part, whole or percents use the equation Whole x Percent = Part. They will have a quiz at the end of next week. The next lesson will be solving real life percent equations solving for such things as commission, mark-up, and percent of change.
